Michelle Spina, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, spent years studying with shamans in the rainforests of Belize. When her young son developed eczema, she turned to the Earth — not a lab — for a solution. What she created was a skin elixir so effective it quietly gained a cult following among her practice. Enter Alysha Burch, Michelle’s longtime patient — and a force in branding with her own boutique agency. One drop of the elixir, and Alysha saw more than glowing skin — she saw a clean beauty movement waiting to happen. Michelle Spina is the visionary behind Divine Intervention. As a licensed acupuncturist and Diplomat of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Oriental Medicine, she delved deep into alternative medicine, honing her expertise in practices like Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET) and Integrated Oncology at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center — where she explored how acupuncture, herbs and other therapies can help support cancer patients.
Her quest for knowledge led her to the lush rainforests of Belize, where she immersed herself in Maya abdominal massage and spiritual healing under the tutelage of Rosita Arvigo, ND. Also a registered yoga teacher trained in Core Strength Vinyasa and prenatal yoga, Michelle’s multifaceted background and journey mirrors the ever-evolving nature of the human skin.
Today, Michelle maintains a thriving and constantly evolving private practice in New York City, where she continues to develop healing blends for the greater good of her patients. She believes, "You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Just spin it."

Her remarkable journey into branding began over twenty years ago with the founding of Square Root Creative—an independent and acclaimed marketing and design agency known for its dedication to pushing creative limits.
Guided by the belief that “ordinary is not an option,” Alysha’s career embodies her passion for bold problem-solving and groundbreaking design. Alysha has always and positively forged her own path, and now alongside her fearless partner Michelle, is ready to take the natural-beauty world by storm.
